- Pickoff/ drop-off: manage all cars that have been pickoff or dropoff, car name, description, borrower name and date.
- Car category: Edit, delete or add new car category
- Engine type: Add new, edit or delete an engine type like diesel, gasoline, etc
- Booked cars: See all booked cars
- Cars: Shows list of all available cars, you can also add cars, delete, etc
- Users: add, manage other users as an admin
- General system setting: Here you can see all website settings, like site name, email, contact and the about section.

Requirement
- Localhost server - Xampp
How to run this project
For you to run this project, you should have installed a localhost server on your pc like e.g. XAMPP. Or you have purchased a hosting plan.
- Click on download and extract the Folder from the zipped one.
- After that, copy the extracted folder and paste in “C:/xampp/htdocs” directory/ folder.
- Open XAMPP and start Apache and mySql.
- Go to your browser (i.e., Firefox) and browse this URL http://localhost/phpmyadmin/ and it will take you to phpMyAdmin
- Then create a new database by clicking on New seen on the left side of the screen.
- Then create a database named “carrent” and click on create.
- Go to the import tab and click on it.
- After that, click on browse file and select the file named “carrent.sql” seen in the database folder we extracted and click on go.
After database creation
- Go to your browser, open a new tab on your browser and browse the path. E.g. http://localhost/car-rent for the visitor/client side and another tab for http://localhost/car-rent/admin for admin side
